Terms of Service

Last updated: draft, not yet published.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Kintrusts, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Description of Service

Kintrusts is a self-help tool that guides you through creating your own estate-planning documents. Kintrusts is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship. The documents you generate are based on the information you provide — you're responsible for reviewing them and, where appropriate, having them reviewed by a licensed attorney in your state.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use Kintrusts.

4. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Fees & Payment

The questionnaire is free to complete. A one-time fee, shown before you pay, unlocks your final, watermark-free documents. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Refund requests can be sent to the contact below and are reviewed case by case.

6. Intellectual Property

The Kintrusts questionnaire, templates, and site are our property. The documents generated from your own answers belong to you.

7. No Legal Advice

Nothing on Kintrusts constitutes legal advice. Laws vary by state and change over time. For complex situations, or if you're unsure whether a document meets your needs, consult a licensed attorney in your state.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Kintrusts is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kintrusts isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [state to be confirmed].

11. Changes to These Terms

We'll post any changes to this page and update the “last updated” date above.

12. Contact Us

Questions about these terms can be sent to support@kintrusts.com or through our contact page.
